Yotty went from the little baby to such a great, smart, and strong robot. I hope we do an awesome job at the competition on Saturday.
It has been focus and practice, practice, practice. We are doing very well in our missions and hope to have some very unique ideas to present.
Our project is going very well too. You will see that with teamwork and a lot of imagination, we can continue to find new ways to make things better and safer.
As the title says, from prototype to yottabyte. GO YOTTY!!!
Today we were perfecting the PizzaRun mission an we started a new mission called EastRun2. In EastRun 2 we go on the right side of the contamination risk with green bacteria and viruses and knock over the bacteria in viruses in it and then touch the east wall. We know we have to touch the east wall at the end of the match because the ref scores it on the field at the end of the match. Another good thing about EastRun and EastRun2 is that we don’t need to create a new jig. We just use the PizzaRun jig for EastRun and the FarmRun jig for EastRun 2. At the end of the meeting we ran through all the runs: RatRun, FarmRun, PizzaRun, FishRun, and EastRun/EastRun2. My corn catcher version 1.1 made its debut! It works! We are probably going to start a new run involving the bacteria/virus catcher and the contamination risks. I think we should call it BacteriaRun. Guess what?!?! Our t-shirts are coming in a few days! My nickname is Exabyte and my number is 4! Shreyas’s nickname is Zettabyte, Mihir’s is Petabyte, and Sam’s is Gigabyte! We did well. Wish us luck!!!!!!
Last meeting the Yottabyte Cyclops started and finished the PizzaRun. Jonathan and I built a jig while Sam and Mihir made the program. We made tremendous progress and made the EastRun that was also successful but we need to make a jig soon. We also found out that our T-Shirts had been shipped and that we would get them soon. I think we have improved our focus a lot over the year and this was a great meeting. Go, Yotty, Go!
We completed run2. We made some adjustments to run2. We also finished the fish run. We made some adjustments to that also. Later on in the meeting we did all three missions, it not that good,we are a work in progress. I think we will accomplish every mission we do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We fell far behind in our farm run. The competition is getting closer. Are we going to be able to complete the missions that we need to? WORK HARD!
Our previous meeting we added the harvester and used our new jig. The harvester is kind of annoying because it keeps getting in the way of Yotty. Besides the jigging and the harvester, we are doing great. This last meeting was very productive!
