The Obstacle Course

Today we made a obstacle course where Yotty can test his line following ability and help dodge and hit obtacles.  Starting out, he went down the side of the table on slightly curved lines.  Then, the most difficult were the Zig Zags!  But, he did it…kind of.  After the zig zags he goes to a half rectangle and goes through an “S” and a blank space, then a line.  But, our team still has to make his obstacles.  Quite an accomplishment.  Way to go TEAM!

Today we worked on the line following program, again. We started to study Yotty, and what he was doing that was bad. We realized that Yotty was going to the right. We also realized that Yotty was having calibration issues. So we fixed that. Than we thought that the back wheel was messing Yotty up, so we took that off. Than we programed it again. We ran it and, YOTTY WORKED! We stoped there for the meeting. Here is a link to see Yotty in action:
